Kobe Tai: Pioneer of Asian Adult Videos
Kobe Tai perhaps wasn’t in the first generation of Asian porn stars, but she was part of the generation that ushered in the World Wide Web and 24/7 access to x-vids (first just still pictures, of course, but who can remember back to those days of the Internet?).
The Taipei-born Ms. Tai was adopted by Americans and grew up in the U.S. under the name of Carla Carter. Born Jan. 15, 1972 (making her now 35), she broke into the x-biz in 1996, later married porn legend Marc Davis but divorced a few years later. She left the industry for a while after having a child in 2000 or 2001 but by 2002 she was back. She has since disappeared.
The 4-foot-11, 90 lb. ball of energy measured a very lithe 32-19-31 and was the first Asian to be signed to a Vivid Video contract. You can catch up with her in action on her Kobe Tai Web site.
